Every dental patient is unique. The final treatment plan and treatment cost depend upon the patient's individual clinical condition, including but not limited to:

• Tooth condition and number of teeth involved
• Tooth position and root anatomy
• Bone quantity, density and jaw structure
• Gum and periodontal health
• Existing dental restorations or oral disease
• Bite relationship and occlusion
• Facial and aesthetic requirements
• Medical history and systemic conditions (including diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, bleeding disorders, immunocompromised conditions, cardiac disorders and other relevant health conditions)
• Requirement of additional procedures such as X-rays, CBCT scans, bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, surgical procedures, laboratory work or specialist consultation
• Brand, manufacturer and type of dental materials selected

Accordingly, two patients requiring the same type of dental treatment may receive different treatment plans and different treatment estimates based on their individual clinical requirements.

No final treatment cost can be confirmed without an in-person clinical examination by Dr. Sudip Roy and, where clinically necessary, appropriate diagnostic investigations.

The treatment estimate issued after clinical examination and diagnosis shall be the applicable estimate for that patient's treatment.

Individual Clinical Assessment

Treatment recommendations are made solely on the basis of the treating dentist's independent professional clinical judgment and accepted standards of dental practice.

Cost alone does not determine the recommended treatment. The treating dentist will recommend only those treatment options and materials considered clinically appropriate for the patient's condition.

Patient's Right to Choose Treatment Materials (Informed Consent)

Where more than one treatment option or material is clinically appropriate for a patient's condition:

1. Dr. Sudip Roy will explain each clinically appropriate option.
2. The discussion will include: clinical indications, expected benefits, possible limitations, expected longevity, aesthetic characteristics, maintenance requirements, possible risks, and estimated treatment cost.
3. The patient may choose any option that the treating dentist considers clinically appropriate for that individual case.
4. A lower-cost option may be selected whenever it is medically and clinically suitable.
5. The final material and treatment selected by the patient will be documented as part of the informed consent process before treatment begins.
6. The clinic will not provide any treatment or material which, in the professional opinion of the treating dentist, is clinically inappropriate or below the accepted standard of care.

Written Treatment Estimate

Following clinical examination and diagnosis, the patient will receive an individualized treatment plan and treatment estimate, wherever applicable, before commencement of treatment. Treatment will proceed only after the patient has had an opportunity to understand the proposed treatment and provide informed consent.

Additional Procedures

Unless specifically mentioned in the written treatment estimate, the following may attract separate charges where clinically required: diagnostic X-rays, CBCT scan, bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, surgical procedures, laboratory charges, medications, specialist referrals, and additional appointments arising from unforeseen clinical findings.

The need for any additional procedure will be explained to the patient before it is undertaken, except in emergency situations where immediate treatment is clinically necessary.

Dental Materials

Different dental materials differ in manufacturer, quality, clinical indication, technology, expected service life, aesthetics, maintenance requirements, warranty (where applicable), and cost. Imported materials, premium brands, CAD-CAM restorations, advanced implant systems and specialized laboratory work generally involve higher costs than standard alternatives.

No Guarantee of Treatment Outcome

Dental treatment involves biological healing and individual variation. Although every reasonable effort is made to provide treatment in accordance with accepted professional standards, no dentist can legally or ethically guarantee: treatment success, healing time, longevity of restorations, implant survival, crown lifespan, denture lifespan, orthodontic treatment duration, aesthetic outcome, or freedom from future complications.

Where applicable, any warranty relating to laboratory-manufactured restorations or dental materials is provided solely in accordance with the terms and conditions of the respective manufacturer or dental laboratory.

Pricing Policy

Prices published on this website are reviewed periodically. Prices may change because of: changes in dental material costs, manufacturer price revisions, imported component costs, foreign currency fluctuations, dental laboratory charges, taxation, government regulations, or other operational factors.

The written treatment estimate provided after clinical examination shall prevail over any price displayed on this website.

Taxes

All applicable Government taxes, including GST where legally applicable, shall be charged in accordance with prevailing law unless specifically stated otherwise.
